The following are some of the general services the we offer to the community. If you have additional needs or questions, please call us at (231) 779-0123.
Customers receive door-to-door (Demand-Response) service. Passenger assistance is always available. Unlike a taxi service, Demand-Response Service works in time ranges by grouping rides within the same area utilizing one vehicle.
Call any time to reserve a ride, but requesting service at least two (2) hours in advance will allow us to better serve you. Ride requests can be made 5:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Friday and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday.
Advanced Registration (Time Calls)
Reserve rides at least 24 hours in advance for community appointments. Service is limited and only offered on a first come, first serve basis.
The WexExpress is available to meet with individuals or groups in Wexford County who wish to learn more about public transit services available and types of passenger assistance offered. We will schedule a time to meet with you, demonstrate our equipment, and answer questions.
Lift and ramp equipped buses with boarding chairs (wheelchairs) are available to assist passengers with special mobility needs, under safe conditions. WexExpress staff are trained extensively in Passenger Service and Safety classes to better serve customers.
